Pradhan Mantri Yojana List – Central Government Schemes

The Govt, of India has come up with many schemes and programs to help the less privileged section of the society. Such schemes are sponsored either by centre or state or both by partnership. Few of these landmark programs have been listed below.

Antyodaya Anna Yojana:

This is one of the schemes produced by the government of India in order to provide good and subsided food to the poor and beggared families. This is a newest scheme launched by the new NDA government or by the BJP Sarkar for the betterment of the poor in the country. It was launched on the year 2000 on 25th of December. This scheme was first got implemented in the state of Rajasthan.

Atal Pension Yojana:

This atal pension yojana was previously known as the Swavalamban Yojana which is a government associated pension scheme for the Indians related to the unorganized sector of the economy. The scheme was originally launched in the year 2010 – 11 and was again got relaunched under the present NDA government on the 09th of May, 2015.

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana:

This is a scheme embedded for the girls promoting the awareness and the welfare service in order to protect and educate the girl child in the nation. It was launched by the NDA government or the present Modi Sarkar for the betterment of the girl child in the country securing them. The scheme was launched 3 years ago in the year 2015 on the 22nd of January.

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana:

This is mainly a government backed life insurance scheme for Indians. This scheme is mainly available for the people between the 18 to 50 years of age with a bank account. The idea was first mentioned by the Finance Minister of the country Arun Jaitley in February 25th in the 2015 Budget in Kolkata. The official launch of this scheme was done by the prime minister on 9th May.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana:

This scheme by the government of India is proposed or launched for the enhancement and standardization of various skills. It is mainly a skill development initiative program by the government. It was launched in the year 2015 on 16th of July at the country capital at New Delhi.

Pradham Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana:

This is mainly an accident insurance scheme from the government of India for the citizens. This is a beneficiary for the people who get involved in any kind of road accidents and have minimal or even no accident insurance. The scheme was first proposed in the 2015 Budget and was launched on 9th May by prime minister on the same year.

Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana:

Previously started with the name of Indira Awaas Yojana this is mainly a social welfare program that aims to provide a better housing to the rural and the poor class of the country. This scheme was launched on the year 2017 by the prime minister of India in West Bengal.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana:

The KVPY is mainly a National Program of Fellowship in basic science in the country that aims to attract maximum numbers of students to make a career out of science by pursuing different basic science courses and research career. It is an ongoing project approached and launched by the present NDA government.

Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana:

This is a scheme made for the rural labourers of the country that mainly aims to improve the productivity of the farm and the farmers by ensuring a better utilization of resources. The scheme was taken into action on 1st of July at the Cabinet Committee Meeting on Economic Affairs that was mainly headed by the prime minister himself.

Kasturba Gandi Balika Vidyalaya:

This is also one of the schemes proposed by the government of India in the year 2004 in the month of July. After the launch the scheme was then merged with the Sarva SIkhsa Abhiyan. They aim mainly to provide the educational facilities to the girls belonging to the schedule casts and other backward classes.

Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana:

This is an objective of the Indian government that aim to provide employment for the rural people. This scheme was launched by the then NDA government and the then Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the year 2001 on 1st of September. This is a self targeting scheme that provides employment and as well as food to the rural people.

Mukhyamantri Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana:

This scheme was launched by the state government of Madhya Pradesh which mainly a price deficit financing scheme mainly launched for the states farmers. They mainly aim in providing a compensation for the agricultural products available for the farmers.

Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana:

After getting launched on April on the year 2006 it had benefited many of the young girls in the state by making their after marriage life a happy and a sustainable one. The scheme is mainly proposed for the young rural girls of the state.

Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana:

This is a scheme proposed by the government of India that mainly aims to providing quality and affordable medicines for the poor and the rural people. They aim to control or in order to reduce the extra pocket expenses that a person have on the health care factor.

Bhamahah Yojana:

This is a program launched by the state government of Rajasthan in order to build a better and a more empowered society in the state. They mainly focus on the term of empowering the women in order to take forward the state. This scheme was launched in the year 2008 which is mainly a benefit transfer scheme.

Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana:

This is a work of the agricultural department of the government that mainly aims of providing an achieving annual growth of the agricultural sectors and the farmers of each state. They aim in providing a direct funding and as well as autonomy to the states farmers under this scheme. It was launched in the year 2009 on the month of March on the 16th.

Rajiv awas yojana:

This scheme mainly deals with the slumber people and the urban poor in order to make the country a slum free India by providing a better housing and facilities. They give the property rights to the slum dwellers and the poor to have a comfortable and a stress free life. it was launched in the year 2009 by the president of the country.

These welfare schemes have a vision to transform the nation to a safe and sustainable place for all its inhabitants. The programs also aim at ensuring social inclusion to those sections of the community that are left out at the ground of income or caste, thus covering under its eligibility criteria, women, children, elderly, and all such sections of people needing assistance.
